So yeah, nice job on the style points, but you ought to, I don't know, do something with it. I like the black and white - perhaps the next step would be to see if you can keep the character style in color. Nice job.

I enjoyed it! Very clean and well done. To get a higher score, I'd aim for perhaps a level-based system rather than the kinda endless chain that this snake-like game goes for. Perhaps some powerups, at least to decrease the length of your snake. Nice job.

I'm not a big reviewer - but sometimes i found it profoundly necessary to review a submission for one reason or another. I'll get straight to it: in its current state, this game is pretty par. The original helicopter game would give this "new and improved" version a run for its money. Anyways, the first few modes are garbage - the wall one isn't bad, but the bomb one is just lame and the "avoid the other helicopters" one is way off (the copter records a crash when my copter is way out of its way). As a previous review said, the mouse settings a little touchy, but I got used to it pretty quick so no big deal. Now, to the important stuff - the time trial mode. Easily the best, and certainly the fairest. I scored a cool 15154, and it was really satisfying to get all of those clocks in a row. I had my time up somewhere around 4000 pretty consistently. My suggestion is that you scrap the other parts of the game, and concentrate on the time trial mode. With some tweaks, it could easily become a very entertaining (and certainly addictive) game. A few suggestions for that mode specifically: a combo counter (to count how many clocks in a row), a time meeter (since you can't see how long you played besides looking at your score), some change of scenery and music (not to hard), and maybe a remodel of the clock icons. Bottom line though, if you put some more time and effort solely into the time trial game (and toss the other ones) I think you could really have a sweet v.2. Thanks for your time, and nice job. -d

The game was (although not exactly original) very clever. I think plenty of people can relate to the theme. It was executed well, and the actionscripting seemed nice (ie not all F's etc.) I also liked the cartoon style of the dude.

The only problem I had with the game was the scoring. If you are going to make a game about GPA's and grading averages, it should be realistic. After I finished the 60 seconds with a 6.33 (which is an unatainable grade point average) I figured it a bit strange.

Also, now that i think of it, It was a bit to easy. All you really had to do was sit up in the corner and blast away with the laser.

Nonetheless, good job. I look forward to a sequel, or if not, then your upcoming work.

GRAPHICS -- Nice drawings, some vastly better than others which made it weird when they meshed.

STYLE -- As almost everyone has said, family guy esque. However, there wasnt much style in the delivery, since it jumped from one scene to the next rather than be transitioned to the next part of the "episode."

SOUND -- Great... not much else to say.

VIOLENCE -- Good amount of violence, specially at the end

INTERACTIVITY -- whateva

HUMOR -- This is where cartoons like this either hit the mark for 5's or struggle. The flash had some good and some bad together... but once again bouncing off of many other reviews, lots of the jokes were forced inbetween sometimes boring dialogue. My suggestion would be to stick with funny animation rather than focus on funny lines that arent that funny. The best part of animation was near the end of the fight scene where the lights go out and the other splinter cell-type mask is really a giant bug. Its only a few seconds long, but it shines out from the rest of the almost tedious cartoon.

Graphics -- Nice feel, but they were stick figures.

Style -- Very stylish with great atmosphere right down to the font selection.

Sound -- Not much to vote on, since im not a huge fan of a gun noise and your standard "tense moment in a action movie" b.g noise.

Violence -- Stick figure + headshot = small splatter of blood. Sufficient for the task, a good amount of gore.

Interactivity -- Lots of fun buttons. The shooting was good too. =P

Humor -- Humor isnt always neccesary, and this did a fine job without it.

Closing Notes -- Very stylish game with excellent control and feel. A little bit longer would have been nice. The only major problem i see is the over-the-top seriousness. Acronyms about terrorist organizations that detailed really dont seem neccesary for a 2-minute game. Nonetheless, very solid and well done. 4/5

good god man every time i close my eyes all i see is that psychidelic background! i could barely concentrate and i think im goin crazy. other than that though, its a good start. try different ways for the paddle, i didnt really like the shape.
